Cats aren’t small dogs, and we don’t groom them like they are. Our feline specialist works at your cat’s pace, in a calm setting, with handling designed for feline comfort.

We don’t book cats online. Cats are scheduled by phone or text, at a calm time picked for them — quiet enough that cats stay relaxed and the dogs stay easy.

Hi, I’m Ven.
I’m a pet stylist here at The Dapper Doxie — and the salon’s feline specialist, which means the cats of Stillwater are my particular joy. Dogs of every size too: I’ve groomed everything from mini poodles to a 100-pound Great Pyrenees mix who now comes in like she owns the place.
My whole approach is simple: watch the pet in front of me. I work with the FAS scale — fear, anxiety, and stress — so if your pet needs a slower pace, a break, or a quieter corner, that’s what they get. A groom they feel good about is a groom they’ll feel good about next time, too.
When a client tells me their dog pulled toward our door on the second visit, that’s the review I’m proudest of. The shiny coat is just the bonus.
